BOARDING

Boarding is charged per day. If your pet stays past 10:00am pickup day, you are charged for the next day.

Puppy boarding starts at $90/day.

Senior pets that have accidents are charged at $90/day. If your pet requires more than one medication twice daily there may be additional charges.

Giant breeds are charged at $85/day for boarding.

​

If your dog is required to be the only dog there is a $10 charge per day.

​

Pickup and drop off is between 7am-7pm M-Th and 8:30-5:30 F-Sun.

Boarding REQUIRES a meet n greet to ensure your dog is well suited to stay in a sitters home. If you are booking with Kathleen your dog must be socialized, housebroken and ok with a group dog setting. Dogs that prefer to be the only dog will be booked with the appropriate fitted team member.

IN HOME SITTING

In home sitting includes a sitter 12 hours overnight and a walk during the day. If your sitter needs to stay past the breakfast feeding/walk the last day you are charged for another day. Sitters are not to be expected to be home 24/7.

In home sitting requires a $100 non refundable deposit.

Any services other than listed; such as taking a boarded dog to the vet, taking a dog to the groomers, errands for pet related items etc will be charged $25/hour. In the event of an emergency vet visit that results in the sitter canceling other work there is a $45/hr fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY ​

Cancellation Fee for visits outside of holidays 

A cancellation fee will apply if the cancellation occurs within a certain time frame or if the notice period is not met. The fee structure is as follows:

• Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the service: $25

• Cancellation that is the same day results in 100% of the service due.

• Cancellation or change in dates for pet sitting during a stay will still owe the full amount of the stay.

• Boarding requests for over a week require a 25% deposit. If this is cancelled less than a month in advanced the 25% deposit is non- refundable. 

Cancellation Fee for Holidays

Any services over holidays will require a 50% non refundable deposit when booked.

DROP IN VISITS

Any visits requested outside of business hours ( 7am-7pm M-Th, 8:30am-5:30pm Fri-sun) have a $10 surcharge per visit. ​

If you have more than two pets for pet sitting visits there is additional charge which will be agreed upon prior to visits. 

 

If your pet has more than a minor accident between visits there is a base of $20 cleaning fee. This includes puppies messing in crates, cats going outside litter boxes, vomit and diarrhea. 
 

HOLIDAYS

Any services over holidays will require a 50% non refundable deposit when booked. These are high demand times of year and spots fill up quickly. Spring break also requires a 50% non refundable deposit.

Holiday hours are 830am-5:30pm.

​

There is a $10 holiday fee per visit for any visits that fall during major holidays. $15 per dog is applied for sitting over holidays. This surcharge goes 100% to the sitter who is working over the holidays. We appreciate and value those who work on holidays and want to make sure they are compensated!

PAYMENT
Payments accepted include cash, check, venmo and zelle. Checks can be made out to Kathleen's Critters and mailed or left at time of service. All Venmo transactions have a 2% surcharge to cover their new fees. Team members are paid a percentage of the rates and gratuity is always appreciated. Payment is due at the time of service. If you cancel any remaining days during your service those days are still charged for.

MEET N GREET

Your initial meet n greet is free, but there is a $25 charge for sitter or walker attendance as we need to compensate our pet care professionals for their time.
